Many times have I passed this Walnut Orchard in the Willamette Valley knowing that one day it would lend itself to be photographed. With a late snowfall, that day came when the landscape took on a painterly presence; the stark contrast of the trees against the whiteness, the lacy web of the branches, and the intriguing path that urges one to follow. Of all the photographs I have taken this one is my favorite.
