As a new year begins I reflect on all the good that has happened. There have been challenges as there are for us all, yet I open myself to the multitude of gifts that have been given. One of them is you! Yes, because of you the gallery is flourishing and I am truly grateful. It is gratifying when you come in and spend the time to walk slowly through, enjoying the art work. The longer you spend the greater the compliment. I cherish the reciting of one of my favorite poems that my work prompted, the moments when many of us have “geeked out” talking about art, and the new friends made. Thank you all!

In this new year I anticipate the possibilities and think of the words of poet Mary Oliver, my sincere wish to you;

”Still, what I want in my life is to be willing

to be dazzled

to cast aside the weight of facts

and maybe even

to float a little

above this difficult world.”
