Wishing you a Warm Wonderful Winter

I do hope you have a wonderful winter! The “dog days of summer” are pretty sweet yet there is something special about this season. It is my favorite time of year to take the camera out on the back roads. The weather doesn’t deter, it just adds to the appeal. The moodiness of the low clouds an Oregon winter brings suits me. I like going out into the lonely “Wyeth” landscapes or better yet a thick blanket of fog. Then the world changes. It’s like walking in a dream wide awake! Surrealism comes to life. And there is nothing better…

“The Americas”  60 x 60 original acrylic on canvas by Oregon artist Mike Bronco. Art is good when it is “unique in conception and well executed”, engaging the viewer. It is  “stunningly right” and “commands your gaze and thoughts whenever you look at it”. “The intensity of the experience of the person making it comes through”. It is “honest, unselfconscious, bold, ambitious, enlightening, original, challenging, and a feast for the senses.”   “Native Expressions”  40 x 40 acrylic on canvas “Mountain Song”  30 x 30 acrylic on canvas, framed
