Kimberly Chai is a Hawaii born artist/printmaker/freelance textile designer who has been exhibiting in the U.S. and internationally since 1989. With a BFA in Printmaking from Rutgers University and an MFA in Printmaking from Washington University Kimberly’s work includes reductive multi-plate linoleum and woodblock prints, lithographs and etchings of “water garden” imagery, artist’s books, and textile designs. When Kimberly is not satisfied with a print she artistically combines the torn remnants with acrylics too make wonderful collages. And yes! Her hand painted silk scarves are luxurious!
